In between iam thinking what amp/dac i get. Drop monoprice and shiit is not avalible here. Topping and fiio is availible

So dekoni elite velour is woth it ?
Dekoni elite velour is expensive. Not worth it if you gonna cut it from your dac amp purchase.
Dac: Topping E30
Amp: Smsl sp200
go with these.

See this post about the Dekoni Elite Velours

My SMSL M300 MKII should be available in Europe for about 212 Euro. (This DAC competes with the Topping D70) Pair that with the SMSL SP200. AliExpress sells my FX Audio TUBE-01 preamp, and look for the option for upgrading the tubes. Comes to about $50 US.

For a DAC, I think you should just grab yourself the SMSL M300 MK2. It is 250 US, and is an excellent choice for the DT1990. For amps, the SMSL SP200 would also be a great choice.

Why not the just released M200?

Listened to my 1990s nearly all day today on my A-100, Liquid Spark, and THX 789... sounds fantastic. The occasional sibilance is what it is but I continue to be so satisfied with the tonal balance and crystal clear mids. They're not perfect by any means but in this price range they get a ton right.

I will also say that with so many amps on hand, the 1990s pair well with all of them. I perceive some minor differences but no bad combinations, only slightly-varying flavors.

The imaging, instrument separation, speed, and detail retrieval of this headphone are just excellent for a piece of audio equipment at the 500-600 US price point. A friend of mine owns the HD600, and he stopped by yesterday to test out my gear. He had never heard the DT1990 before. He was blown away by my DT1990.

Wow i haven't seen that before. Looks like it's better to pair with SP200. M200+SP200 really nice system though they have so much feature i don't need. Topping E30 and Schiit Heresy on par with those at a much lower price with less features. I always recommend better headphones and cheaper dac/amps.

Just be aware that the AKM 4493 DAC chip is a big step down from the AKM 4497.

Except we talk about the implementation RME made with the ADI 2 DAC FS.

Any idea what would be causing my 1990s to produce a low humming sound when plugging them into my Lyr that also turns into a very high pitched (but barely audible) ringing sound that I can only really hear during quiet parts? My DT880s and HD800s do not display either of these issues, but both are also 600 Ohm. Is the Lyr just putting out too much power for these or something? Could it be the cable?
