so i picked them up and stretched them out a bit to put on my head, and when i pulled them onto my head, i heard a crack, and the pivot arms that connect to the drivers broke. You cant physically see the damage, but when you put them on, the left side doesnt clamp anymore. Is there any way to get a refund, or atleast get a new pair? i bought mine from soundearphones on cyber monday

It depends on the return policy of the merchant you purchased them from.
There is a warranty of two years from Beyerdynamic if you purchased from an authorized dealer.

With the COP's you can only tweak the sound, not their shape

I believe SE is an authorized retailer, get in touch with them.

I do agree that the COPs are kind of easily broken from the joints, although they're very tough and can take a beating. My COP's metal forks got loose after a month of use as well. In your case though, you should ask for a refund or try to fix it in a way.
