For those who are interested, I just posted a review of T51i (http://www.head-fi.org/products/beyerdynamic-t51p-tesla-headphone-silver/reviews/10879) and since I used A200p in a review, I snapped a few shots to demonstrate one way how you can attach it to your smartphone.

These two look and perform like a match made in heaven :)  Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!

Since saturday I also have the A20p not sterile and use it with my IE80. Super detail, clean but not sterile. Easy to listen hours without getting tired.I only used it with my Samsung Note 10.1  2014 edition wich already sounds good on it´s own merits. Needless to say I am very happy with the little DAC altrough this isn´t a cheap combination, but I did find my ideal set-up, this  is what counts after many months of experimentation.

Great photos...I gotta say I'm very impressed with the T51p / A200p combination...simply one of the very best portable setups I've heard.

Well, I just picked one up locally (brand new) and on sale for $249.99. Using it with my iPhone and so far I'm very impressed with the sound from this little unit. Tonight I'll pair it with my NAD HP50, B&O H6, Monster DNA On Ears and Monster DNA Pro Over Ears and report back.

The one very impressive thing is the size of it. Now this is portable!

Where in Toronto did you find this beautiful little amp at that price, MH?

NCIX...I also picked up the T51ps for a great price there too.

Probably a bit off-topic, but in your setup of A200p + T51p, do you EQ the sound to brighten T51 sound?  I typically don't use EQ with any of my heaadphones, and in the past always had a "rule" if I have to eq the sound to my liking, these are not for me.  But I absolutely love T51, though their sound is a bit too dark for my usual "balanced" taste.  Wondering about your setup?

I find together, no EQ is required. My setup is just either my iPad Air or iPhone 5 --> A200P --> T51p....just one stellar on the go rig!

Hmm...  I've been thinking of a possible dac/amp to plug into my computer, but this little device seems tempting.  I own several android products, the newer ipad min, and could certainly use the 30pin cable if I get my hands on this device.  I'm a huge fan of versatile options, so this one, especially considering its size, seems like it might be a good match.  Is the lil guy still holding up well compared to initial impressions?

my best IEM is the Dunu DN-K, as far as headphones the worst two as far as driving I have would be the HE-400 and HD700

what is needed is a rubberized case for the iphone which has either a snap in or magnetic binding to the dac/amp more in the profile of the phone itself with the thunderbolt wire either built in or having it connected via airplay or uncompressed bluetooth.  just can't stand having something rubber banded together and hanging off the phone like as though it really doesn't belong.  also don't like the bulky lightening to usb cable between them.  this could be built into the case and not risk getting snagged/unplugged. this is a nice unit and a good idea but i still don't think we are there yet in terms of a portable dac/amps I would mind carrying.  ideally the iphone has the same quality dac/amp built right in and a larger battery to power it all.  call it the iPhone Beats

. bet you would sell the H out of it. more and more people are trying to power decent full sized headphones with their phones now then used to.

Can this amp drive a HD700?  I know it won't drive it to perfection, but can it at least drive it to where it sounds good?  I'm coming from a Fiio X3 as far as how well its driven, so I don't have particularly difficult standards.
