Ok well a context would help too, is it good bad? just a piece of PR fluff?

You know you want to buy it, don't you?

I'm making a slightly bigger purchase shortly, and despite some odd things I've experienced with the HFI-650 I'm going to experience them for a while... so the 660 will have to wait.

It's tempting, I need something closed since I mostly use my cans at work, and the 660 falls into the category.

Closed, comfortable, well built.

IMHO they sound a bit like the DT831 but not as bright, better bass and a little more fun (I always found the 831 a little snooty sounding - only really well produced stuff sounded right, everything else sounded like the headphones were turning their nose up at it. Strange analogy I know, but that's the best I can come up with

)

In short; Kinda like the DT831 but much more enjoyable and genre versatile.

My girlfriend gave them the thumbs up for her rockabilly/punkabilly/psychobilly music saying they have good energy without coming off as harsh. The DT860 on the other hand she said didn't make her want to rock out at all.
