I'm more confused than ever.
Now i'm looking at the m5 or ie7. I'm scared that the bass on the EB will be to muddy. The TF10 is out of my budget big time.

Around here it seems that the main comparisons in your price range are the Turbines vs m5's. Both beat the ie7 for bass. But the bass winners right now are the ie8's... if you want to go that far on the price.

ignore the EB's as the bass is muddy, the highs can be piercing and you CAN NOT wear them in public -- full size cans look less dumb than someone walking down the street with the eb's on.
