Actually the -50 is lighter in the bass, presumably because of the different enclosure (it's much more open, and it leaks more sound) and the fact that it doesn't clip on to the ear as snugly.

skyway, have you tried the KSC-35? They fit *MUCH* better than the KSC-50 and the Sony/Aiwa "clip-on" phones out there. I've actually played basketball with the KSC-35

As others have said, the KSC-35 actually have a bit stronger bass, due to the fact that they fit more snugly.

As for the price, I posted above: find Mr. Tibb by using the search function -- he sells them for $25.
