Here's something you can do once a week to get rid of excess earwax for really cheap. Go to your local drugstore and purchase 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Lay on your side and pour a capful into your ear. You'll feel a bubbling/tickling sensation, which is perfectly normal. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then go tip your head into the bathroom sink to let the earwax-peroxide solution drip out. Repeat for the other ear, and enjoy being wax free! 
 
I don't produce much earwax, but I do this sometimes when I have a cold and I feel like my ears are stuffy.

What you mean? Naturally the ears have the self-cleaning function. But when that function is not working or not working effectively for whatever reason, you have to have the builtup wax removed externally.

Well I have used it before and it isn't really like a spoon, you can pick them up at your local drug store and they only allow you to insert the device far enough in that you will not hurt anything.  On the end there is an enclosed loop and while turning or spinning the device (for the life of me I cannot remember it's name) it will build up the wax in the loop and remove it from your ear.  It works ok but nothing like going to the doctor and getting flushed with high pressure water.

Don't EVER do that if you have tympanum/eardrum issues (inflammation, suspicion of perforation...), or you'll be in for the pain of your life.
Hydrogen peroxide is to used with caution, even at 3%.

help here! i have dry ear wax, real dry..no moisture at all,and my ears itch almost everyday,and im like trying to dig out all the wax with my fingers/ cotton buds..but it just wont come out and i feel like there is hard wax or smth else stuck in there.. i went to a few doctors and they told me there is nothing in there.

Actually, I have had my ears cleaned before by my doctor.
 
They used some sort of warm water solution and inserted a very small tube inside the ear that was attached to a spray bottle. Then the lady pulled the trigger and it just felt like water was being rushed into my ear. Which is what she was doing. This worked quite well. The build up of ear wax came out into a plastic cup that I held beside my head to catch it.
 
It was actually quite gross. But it got the job done, and let me tell you that I could hear like never before! I could hear sounds that I didn't even know where there.
 
I would recommend that everyone do this once in awhile. It's the best way to clean your ears. I'm sure they sell kits on Amazon that will do the same job.

I dilute some hyd. peroxide to about 1/2 strength (making it about 1.5% solution) with warm water, and follow procedure abover -- lay head sideways, pour in mixture, let it bubble, and then wiggle all the fluid and wax out with a tissue at the ear canal opening.

After the specialist doctor cleaned mine, I can never imagine how possibly it could be for a person to really clean his own by himself. Mission impossible! Anyone watched the latest movie?

When I wear IEM's I notice one side is slightly bassier than the other.  So I was thinking about buying Debrox and an ear syringe and trying to clean my ears.  I've been using Q-tips on my ears regularly for years after showering.  I'm hoping it's a small wax buildup and that combo procedure will clear everything up.
