I've been looking for something similarly portable to the Sennheiser PX100, but a closed nature.

So far I've been considering:
  1. AKG K414P (or its variants)
  2. Sennheiser PX200
  3. Audio-Technica FC700, random other ATs
Portability and durability is a huge factor here, I need to it to fold and stay folded. The best sound out of these is probably the AKG K414P? I've tried to search individual threads about these. The general consensus is that all of them suck compared to the open variety at these sizes, but I believe the AKG K414P is given the most credit (and the Audio-Technica hardly gets any notice).

I'm open to suggestions as well, but anything larger than the AKG K414P is no longer portable enough (eg. AT-ES7 is too large, and it isn't very portable anyway as the cups don't fold they only swivel and flatten out).

Thanks!

Ever considered K81DJ? It is only very slightly larger than K414P, and the SQ isn't too bad for its price.

PX200 is very disappointing, its impossible to get a good seal which leads to no bass response...
