I have had the Pl-30 for about a week and was underwhelmed by the sound until I modded my Comply tips that came with my UM2's. The sound seriously took a huge jump. Instead of everyone having to go through the other threads I thought it might be helpful to get advice on what tips will best bring the sound out of these headphones. It seems a lot of people have a had a problem getting a seal from the sub-par tips provided from SoundMagic. So lets create a list of the best tips to use for the pl-30's and where to get them.

Just ordered the t400's, looking forward to using them, it really is amazing how far forward the quality of sound jumped when I got a good seal. They really are an amazing value of a headphone if you can get a good seal. If not I can see why all the other people are disappointed.

Dead on. I just never liked the over the ear style, since I have both glasses and hair that is over my ear. That's the main reason I am going to give the PL30s to a friend or family member. And it seems I have to monkey with them a lot for a solid seal, even with the Comply sleeves. Hey, for $19.82, they were a fun purchase. Nothing more.

I liked the bi-flanges best out of the included tips, but they came off in my ears a couple of times!

I have been using the included foamies, but the seal is nowhere near as good. I'm thinking I'll try some Comply (T400?), but if anyone can suggest a good alternative bi-flange, I'd like to give that a go too...
