I was originally set on getting the RE2s, but I was wondering if the yuin pk2s provide noticeable better SQ than the RE2s? How do the 2 compare? Also is there anything that can blow these out of the water for to speak in the price range?

I got the PK2's last Spring. About a month later I got a set of RE2's. At first, I thought the RE2's were far inferior. They have less "body" and less low end than the PK2's. However, the more I've listened to the RE2's, the more I like them. Now I'd say it's close. They have different types of sound. If you like the "inside your head" sound and more isolation, the RE2's are good, provided you don't need heavy bass. If you don't need the isolation and prefer something closer to the sound of full-sized headphones, then the PK2's are better.

Both good and worth the money, just in different ways.

hahah i see... doesnt help much with my decision. I really shouldn't buy both haha. How does the denon c751 fit into this equation? How are the highs on the pk2s?

For ~$100US, the Denon c751's for sure. The default tips are a joke though so you ought to replace them.

I didn't like the C551's. Haven't heard the C751's.

I'll make it easier. If you don't need isolation and you don't mind the earbud style, get the Yuins.
