I phrased that wrong. I assume they are 5.0 (from Apple's site, they are--they have video capability) rather than 4.0. So a pcm card is still necessary. Plus, its not much more than a firewire cable anyway.

I am not a Dell person, but if you have a USB port you are good to go.
