Best sounding DAP at least 20 gigs in size?

thanks for the info JMB. That player may be a better option for me than the little Karma.

It looks like the JB3 is being discontinued. I can't hardly find one for sale anywhere.

I did find a couple 20 gig models but no 40 gigs. None of them mention a remote.

I guess the remote is something I have to buy separately.

Back to the drawing board.

Yeah...it is difficult to find it new. I've bought both of mine used. Try eBay. Creative has been selling refurbished JB3s on eBay lately.

Also, if you a brand new unit, there are plenty of other good players out there. The JB3 is great but you might be just as happy with one of the smaller ones.

If you want a line out on the unit for an amp and a 40GB model, try the iRiver iHP140. It is very portable and comes with a wired remote. It is a great unit if you are not interested in live recording. For that the JB3 can't even be touched.

The iRiver also has an optical out, so you can patch into a home reciever with a direct digital patch. Plus, if you ever get the urge to use and external D/A convertor, you're good to go.

Cheers!
