Best sounding DAP at least 20 gigs in size?

Huh, Is the NJB3 available in Europe? I checked the Creative site (nl) a while ago and the NJB3 was not on their site. I figured that it didn't sell good enough overhere anymore.

Thanks John.

Don't plan on spending money ATM but it's good to know where I can get one. The NJB3 sounds like it's by far the best option for what I'd use it for.

Actually, it's on sale at Dixons in the Netherlands for the insanely low price of 146 Euros (in Utrecht at least), might be at V&D as well. Grab one while you can.

Thanks. Might as well look into that. Utrecht isn't that far from where I live.

Nice, I hope you'll get one. I have one myself and I'm really happy with it, got it for 196 Euro at V&D which I already thought was a steal.

Well, after a good hard think about it I decided not to get one. I've always thought if I ever get an HD player it will be the NJB3 but it just isn't "ever" yet. ATM I'm perfectly happy with my iRiver imp-150. It has a bit of a picky lens with scratches Cd's but I like the sound so much that I bought a new one recently.
The difference in sound between the imp-150 and my NAD is smaller than between the imp-150 and any other PCDP I've ever tried. Including an almost top of the line 7 year old Sony D-E305 (2x15mw defeatable anti-skip)
Maybe my NAD is far better but my current headphones don't reveal it.

Maybe I'll regret it later but I figure why spend 146 euro on a sidegrade when I can put that money to an upgrade later? It will just put me further away from an RS-1/MS-2/MS-Pro.

For me the main advantage of an HD player is that you don't have to take your CD's with you and you don't have to swap them. You just grab the JB3 and you have all the songs you'd possibly want to hear, really handy.

Heh, my fiance practically has your asterisked statement as a personal mantra. She hates when people say "American" to only refer to U.S. folks, I personally use the term US-icans

I'm interested in the Rio Karma or something along those lines.

But the problem is I only have firewire interface, and I don't have a USB 2.0 interface.

Is there a cheap way to obtain the interface? Like a USB 2.0 Adapter that would allow me to download and upload at super-speed rates? Or does my computer have to actually have USB 2.0 previously installed in it?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

A look at amazon got me these options

Of course, you need an open PCI slot to put it in. Ther ight be other options, but this is what I know of. Look at number 9 on that list and for only 24 bucks you can have 2 usb 2.0 slots in your computer. Just pop the card in and your set. Enjoy!
