Best Solid State amp for HD800?

I don't exactly know, but I tried the combo at a store nearby with a burned-in HD 800. Don't know about the amp.
When I say harsh and bright it's compared to other SS amps I've heard the HD 800 with. Brightness similar to the BCL, but way more aggressive sounding. I would cry blood if I had to listen to that for hours. With rock it could be good. I have to say I have not heard that kind of energy from the HD 800 before. It's a matter of taste after all.
