Ok, my seemenly permant headphone listening spot has become populated by the land of loud TV watchers, and i'm thinking of picking up some sealed cans. 500 bucks is an absoulte maxium, i'd perfer to spend less. They'll be used attached for a fortimisso 2 with a ART DI/O, and a melos SH1-a. I'll be using them for gaming, and music listening.

Thanks in advance

If you dont want ety's, then look into the Beyerdynamic DT770-250's as well.

Sounds like the Etys would be perfect.

DT770pros or DT250-80/250 would be great for the job

Both offer excellent isolation and are great for music/movies.

Etys first, then the Beyers as recommended.

Not W100's. Despite their closed design, they don't keep much noise out!

i'll second the ETY's.... you can use the 250$ you saved to have bolder upgrade your art DI/O.

I haven't heard the Beyers or the W100s, but I love my Ety 4Ps...

4Ps I can recommend these as a father of four who has discovered that listening can indeed be an individual experience.

Ety's first, Beyer DT770's second. Yup. Pretty much what they all said.
