I've decided on getting the ATH-ESW9, but I'm trying to find the best place to do that.

Has anyone used or heard of smartimports.net?
It has a great price, just want to make sure it's a good place to order from.
Also.. are there any North American retailers for this yet? I can't seem to find any.

Thanks,
Dan

ALO Audio is an Authorized USA Dealer. But their ESW9s are $449.99! Ok, and get this for a $100 more you can get the ESW9s recabled w/SXC Cryo. Which is a much better deal at $549.99. Check em' out, the pics look awesome.
Good Luck & Merry Christmas

From the little I know of recabling, $100 more isn't anything to be upset about.

However, since I've never personally had anything recabled (yet, waiting on a closed headphone that really sings before I put down that kind of cash for a cable), I can't speak to its value per dollar.

Also, not that it matters a lot, but Reseller Ratings has 6 reviews for smartimports.net and they're all 10/10 so far.

Doesn't guarantee for sure that they're safe though. Still, better than knowing nothing.

They are about the equivalent of $225 in Japanese yen as I post this. Also, smart imports says $254.

I suggest contacting Craig at kuboten.com. The Yen just dropped a bit so now or soon might be a good time to buy.
