IMHO of course.

Are the AKG 240's closed? I have a PocketAmp2v2 connected to my iPod with a SikDin. Would this small amp be enough to drive the 240's?

I don't know if anybody has mentioned them, but from my experience, the DT990's are one of the best rock cans I have heard, other then my CD3000.

The k240s is semi-open. Basically you can still hear whats going on around you, but the cans don't leak sound.

It just needs a little amping to tighten the bass and liven it up a bit. The Pocket Amp should be fine.
