Hi i own a Xonar Essence ST with Sennheiser HD555 which are great for both music and games but my current speakers broke so i am thinking of an upgrade...
I am considering buying a stereo setup 2.0 or 2.1 with a maximum of 100$ price.Perhaps i can give ~60$ now for the speakers and add a woofer later when my pocket fills a bit :p
I read great reviews for:

Genius SP-HF 1255

Genius SW-G2.1 1250

Genius SP-HF1800A

Genius SP-HF500A

The last ones cost in my country 27 € so its pretty much half the price of amazon.Dont know about quality though :S

I have also read that at this price range the speakers are preffered primarly by the cabinet rather than the woofer instead. Also please advice for a subwoofer to have in mind!

Any suggestions are welcome :) thanks in advance!

are you a basshead? do you like consumer sound? as in low vocals, not too clear, but boat loads of bass? if so. a Logitech Z623 is for you. if that is not you. just disregard my post. the Z623 is not an audiophile system. highs and vocals are attrocious in terms of audiophile standards but is a great overal product for the average consumer

$100 is a small budget and bass at that price point would mostly be muddy, boomy, etc Not sure which part of Europe u at but perhaps scan the used audio hardware forums/scene where u at? If brand new and Europe perhaps the Edifier Studio or Microlab Solo series?
