In Search Of: Full-size, circum-aural, closed headphones with very tight "clampy" fit and excellent ear pads

I'm looking for the headphones that have the strongest passive noise-reduction potential, basically headphones you can put on your head and they block out a lot of sound even with no music coming through.

I'm actually planning on using these headphones to listen to white noise as I sleep. But since I sleep on my side, the build quality needs to be very high and the ear pads need to ultra think foam, perhaps replaceable with gel cushions or heavy-duty memory foam.

I'm also looking for a tight "clamp-like" fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what that might be?

Thanks!

Beyer DT770pro or 770M, with optional gel pads. They are quite large though, and settling into sleep with those even with a cushy pillow would be tricky. Maybe get one of those contour pillows and cut out a section in the middle for the headphones to sink in?
