Dear all,
I am new to Head-Fi and I am very proud to have the chance to write and make questions (and, in fact, give answers).
I own a very good for its price Philips Fidelio X2HR and I was wondering which mods I may apply to increase their performance.
I mainly listen rock, blues, jazz and some metal-ish
Thanks in advance!

X2HR aren't typically modded because until very recently (like last 6 months or less?) there were no aftermarket pads for them and Philips did not sell the original pads separately, so people were understandably nervous to take them apart and not be able to get replacements. Dekoni now sells aftermarket pads, and as far as I know that's the only real 'mod' available.

Thanks for your reply!
BTW, I read somewhere (maybe here on Head-Fi?) that it'd make sense to remove close a breathing hole in the earcups in order to improve performances. Unfortunately it seems that X2HRs do not have proper QC, which brings to different behaviors per item on the same model.
