Another vote for the Audio Technicas: ES7, ESW9, ESW10.
No idea what went wrong with the A/AD series...can't get over how ugly the AD700s and AD2000s are. Can't bring myself to buy these despite the apparently superb sound.

They sound too damn good, it overlooks its unusual form. Besides, you can't see the 'phones when you're in audio nirvana.

Another vote for the K-1000. The most unique headphones ever produced and they have a terrific industrial design. Close runners up would be the Grado HP-2 and RS-1, as well as the Beyereynamic DT48 - I like its clean, minimalist look. The black anodized aluminum cups are all business.

I'm undecided between the ATH-W11JPN and ATH-W2002. They're both stunningly gorgeous.
