first off these headphones are strictly for home use..

i purchased the Sennheiser HD212 cause i read the bass was good but i returned them because even amplified (Astro Mixamp) i did not like the sound..

i came down to two decisions: AKG 81 DJ or Sennheiser HD595..

anybody with EXPERIENCE i would love to hear your opinion.. i want SOUND QUALITY headcans..

beats by dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Seriously though. Denons do pretty well with Hip Hop. Maybe a Denon D1001. I'd shy away from the HD595. I don't really know anything about the AKG you listed. I'd also throw the Audio Technica M50 out there.

Yeah I agree. The D2000's, ATH M50's, and D1000's are all great. Depending on how much you want to spend, Ultrasones also have some nice bass.

They are the most recommended headphones for bassy heads.

D2000 then, definitely. Shop around.

I haven't heard them, but I was considering checking them out until I got lucky with the HF-2 sale.

My recently purchased D5000 have been doing very well with Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, PoP and some Old Rock. Not getting any Wobble bass effect, but tight bass; I guess due to the me using the ALO Rx.
