I think Steve's (swt61) Smeggy made Madagascar Ebony Fostex T50RP "Thunderpants" are by far the best looking headphones I have laid my eyes on..and it sounds the part too. Just stunning. Gary has really outdone himself this time. Fantastic finish..perhaps dBel84 will post a pic or two later.

Sorry for my poor photography, but the W1000X really are beautiful, and so they deserve another look:

Many headphones are beautiful in their own way, like the industrial built Beyer DT48, the black AKG K702 and the solid looks of the Shure SRH 840
However, I find woodies to be the best looking phones

A difficult choice between Audio Technica W1000X, Denon D5000 and Denon D7000.
My vote goes to the D5000s, I like the darker tone and the more matte finish of the wood better than W1000's and D7000's, which are both more glossy and shiny.

I second this, love the design of HD800 very much, too.

But also found that the HE-5LE is pretty good looking recently.

Nice capture Skylab, so shiny I can see your reflection on 'em... hmmm, either my eyes are playing tricks on me or you really have a striking resemblance to James Dean.

I hate wood grain lol

I thought the D2000s looked really elegant when I ordered them but I've seen so many pictures of them while they've been shipping and now they look kinda bland :/

Funny. I find the D5000's not to have enough grain, and I much prefer the W1000X's more angular frame. But it's all cosmetics, so it's all cool
