Best Gaming Headphones?

I think the 555 and 595 might be good for gaming. From the soundss of people describing the 580/600/650 as having a bit of a veil and laid back, I can't say they'd be good for FPS gaming.. footsteps and detail etc. The Beyers have that slightly high bright end that lends itself well to that kind of gaming.

I had the sennheiser CX300 briefly, and it has nice bass when you got a proper seal, pretty good soundstage too. But it's an IEM, doesn't go too deep in the ear canal as some other IEMs from what I've heard. I thought they were pretty good if you didn't mind having them in your ears for a while. They're great value IMO if you can find them in ~50 range. I think the prices for them have gone up to 75.. which is a bit too high.

You'll be happy either with DT770 80 ohms or ATH-A*00. While if you plan to increase your budget then don't look anywhere else and buy A900LTD

If he can find one. I just traded mine for an SR225 with c-pads and beyer dt770 headband.
