At $150, one of your best options is probably going to be the Phillips Fidelio X2HR, at least in the US. Not sure what that will cost in Egypt, though.

Good headphones, but I'd guess it would be far too big for the OPs purpose with Rift already pretty big? Especially jumping around doing fitness.

Maybe consider something smaller like the KOSS KPH30i. Secure, cheap and sounds VERY good. It's open back and has great soundstage and separation, good detail levels and bass. One of my favourite headphones for music, gaming and movies as nice and balanced.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world who really does not care for the KPH30i. They're mediocre at best to my ears, but are raved about as giant killers by so many. I do own a pair, as I got curious at one point, but I wouldn't recommend them unless budget were severely limited. I do agree the formfactor probably makes more sense for use in a VR setup, though.

I wouldn't call them "giant killers", in fact I don't think that term helps with any budget gear as immediately buyers can go in expecting them to compete with their more expensive gear and then judge them on that. A lot of the time it's those who didn't have many sets to begin with concluding that they could take on more expensive sets thus call them "giant killer".

I prefer to base it on value. The price to performance ratio of the KPH30i can't be disputed (IMO). £20-30 for the sound they produce is outstanding and probably why they're so well-liked, especially among hobbyists who can appreciate it up against other headphones.

On that basis and like you said, "form factor"... I think they're perfect for VR and exercising along with it.
