Which earphones would you recommend for around $150.
I mostly listen to rap and some occasional rock and hip hop.
I would like one with a strong wire. One which will last atleast 1 year.

Monster Turbines have strong bass and do rock pretty well, although the wire is kind of flimsy. Another popular option is the Denon C710s, although I haven't heard those myself. JAYS also released some new models, the a-jays and the t-jays.

They may not but under 150 but you get what you pay for.  Its a quick read and gives you a good clean review of whats hot.
