I can't believe no one has mentioned Willie Nelson. Is there anyone who has recorded more duets? Here's a favorite, a top-shelf performance from two of not just American music, but Americana.

As an added bonus, there's a duet of Trigger and Lucille!

It is unfortunate that there wasn't a better recording for posterity.
