I have a pair of Beyerdynamic T5ps, and I'm looking for an amp to bring out their full potential. Budget ~$1000. Right now I'm powering them with a combination of Schiit Bifrost and Asguard 2, and they sound pretty good but I'm convinced they can sound better. (I know they can because they do on my Schiit Lyr, but it has too much noise.)
Any recommendations for an amp to bring out the full potential of these cans? I've read they are pretty similar to the T1s, but they have much lower impedance so I'm not sure the recommendations for the T1s (e.g. WA2) will work. I'm not looking for anything portable. Just great sound.
In terms of what I'm not getting right now I'd say the low end is a bit empty, the highs can be a bit too much, and the soundstage is a bit muddled. Thanks in advance!
