Best DAC/Amp Combo?

This thread is probably not going to give you a very consistent answer - Amps and DACs don't get changed very often in setups, relative to the sheer number of amp and DAC makers. People are just going to say what they have or have heard, which is going to be a rather limited sampling.

"Best" in what way?
Price, size, sound quality, features, build quality, availability, .. or a combination of any/several of them?

Best as in a quality dac/amp combo without having to spent $50000000000

From what I've seen, they seem to be cheaper. For an amp and dac, my budget is around 400. Do you have any recommendations for a separate dac and amp for a budget?

Get someone to stuff a Gamma1 and CKKIII or something in 1 box.

What kind of headphones are you planning to drive?

Most likely I'd be driving Grado Rs1is

And I sais my budget was around 400 for both the amp and dac
