fun thread!

best buy for me has to be my new hd580's. got them in a local shop in zurich and they have been on his shelf since the 90's! the best part is that because he is an authorized sennheiser dealer, he validated my warranty so i have 2 years protection for a set of cans that are out of production.

for me the best bang for buck wasn't because it was incredibly cheap but because i was able to find it in the first place.

After a long and extensive series of comparisons, I have concluded that HD280s are the phones I enjoy listening to most out of all that I own or have owned. That also makes them the best bang for buck, because they were only $80 (my next cheapest pair was $150, and all the others were substantially more.)

(I also felt "vindicated" in my choice this weekend. I went to a music festival with multiple stages, and all of the sound guys had 280s!)
