Hey guys,
 
I'm shopping ideas around to get a new amp/dac to power up TH900. I have been highly recommended BMC Puredac so far, looks like a very nice unit indeed, I'm also very interested by RSA Darkstar. Just wondering what others think out there would be the best for balanced amp/dac with usb for desktop usage.
 
P.S: It will be an upgrade from a Benchmark DAC1 USB and the TH900 with be recabled by moon audio to silver dragon v3 to go balanced.

I heard the Darkstar at a head-fi meet. Wow, what an AWESOME amp. That thing is a monster - it drove everything we threw at it and never even broke a sweat. It is also an incredibly well-made piece of kit with silky smooth controls. I don't have a lot of experience with high-end amps, and I only played with the Darkstar for an hour or so, but I was very impressed.

I wish the chord hugo could do balanced, I'm starting to wonder if I still shouldnt get one I love that its portable and I've been reading its quite amazing for the TH900, hmmm

Meier Classic & Daccord combo? Not sure but that's what I plan on getting for my TH600.
