I'm looking for some insight from some audiophiles, I have read lots of reviews and I think I'm ready to buy the HD700, I do not have a budget and will be listening to FLAC  through my laptop only... I'm interested in amps and DACS and also combos

Heard the HD700 with the Asgard 2/Modi and thought they powered them well.
