Looking at getting a good amp for my m50s. A friend told me the Lepai 2020A would work, but I have a budget of $50-$100 to work with. Any advice? I have no problem dropping $20 for an amp, anything over $50 I need to make sure will work.

Probably not a good idea investing on a headamp for the M50's, Difference is not huge. Why not spend your money on a new set of headphones?

The Lepai 2020A is a speaker amplifier, it has no headphone jack.

Long time lurker but first time poster.

With my M50 using the GNII as a source, there's a huge difference putting the Fiio E11 in the mix.  Not only is the sound level pushed way up, but seems like everything gets tighter and a bit more sparkley (remember first time poster and audiophile noob).  I enjoy the affect that it has on the overall presentation.

Note that I like a lot of tight bass so the E11 is set to "1", and the stock EQ for the phone is flat except for a -1 at 3,1K and 8K. and a +1 on Bass and Clarity.
