What source? What input types do you require? What cans (if any) are you trying to match? There are plenty of reviews posted including a stickied 38 amp thread that should get you started. Simply stating a dollar criteria isn't necessarily enough information for people to help you out.

Are You looking for amps which cost >$100 or <$100?
If the former, what's your budget's limit?
There are tons of choices: FiiO, ....
Hot amps over $100: the O2, C5, ....

Edit:
I've just realised that this is a very old thread.
Back then there weren't FiiO amps .... the O2, C5  and many other amps.
But I wonder, what amps were hot in (June) 2008?

By the way, where do you buy C&C BH?
All this ebay buying is too scary for me. A lot of scam.

I'd like to explore more portable/transportable amps and/or dacs.
Yeah the pav2 is very popular and famous (amp) along with CMoy amp (from JDS Labs,   ...)

Can help other people.  I'm sure the OP isn't the only one looking for $100 amps :D

True. And I head the Magni is really something-mine should be here tomorrow. Though not portable.

Right, I was looking at replacing my - dare I say - Behringer HA400 amp.  It works and it was cheap, but I have some lower than 100ohm phones that I think should sound better, hence the dive into the pockets a little deeper for the Magni :)

The OP actually used the greater than symbol meaning any amp over $100. The sky's the limit lads

Sorry-I think that OP meant to say <100. If he meant >100...then...opposed to the best amp in the world costing LESS than $100?
