Hello All,
 
I'm reviving this thread as I am looking for a desktop DAC and AMP (or combo device) to drive Alpha Dogs. I've read many threads on this forum and the more I read, the more I get side tracked to the point I can't decide.
 
I've read about Little Dot, O2+ODAC, HiFi M8 (which is a little out of my price range), Geek, and many more which is all starting to blur in my head. I am new to the world of headphone DACs and AMPs. So any suggestion to device or devices that fit my bill will be greatly appreciated.
 
Again, I am looking for a desktop device to run from my computer using Foobar2000.

AGDR has designed and I have just completed what an ODA most likely would have been if the designer didn't disappear from the planet...

It has 3 times the current capability of the O2 and can drive HE's.
 
Also there is a O2 booster board that also will do the trick...
 
I have several O2's and Odacs and now an ODA......
 
Doing double blind testing the O2 and ODA are indescribable.

I can build a PC but I'm rather a novice to the AMP/DAC world and I'm no ET so soldering is out of the question.

Agdr is still improving on it. I am making some minor changes to make it even better!
