Hello as the title says what's your favorite amp for the T1? I want it $1000 or under. PS if you know any good DACs I would appreciate it greatly :D! So far I've been looking at the Beyerdynamic A1 and Music Fidelity M1. I can't buy Woo Audio (they don't sell on Amazon), so please help me make my decision.

Thanks,

For around $1k, Woo Audio WA2 IMO. Hands down the best amp I've heard with the T1s in this price range.

Another good choice too would be the Deware CSP-2.

I don't see the issue with buying from Woo Audio directly? Whatever dude...good luck.

I need to buy on Amazon, its important for my cash back and percentage off. What if I can have the company or someone sell on Amazon? I will pay them extra!

Amazon's listings are minimal, but this would be a good choice for the 600 ohm T1s:

I've heard good thing about the A1, but what about the DAC? I hear the Music Fidelity M1 is good for a DAC? Is that true? What about the SCHIIT LYR or Valhalla?

For the T1s, the Valhalla would be a good choice too. For a DAC in the price range you're looking at, the Bifrost might be just what the doctor ordered.

Let me ask you, will I be getting the best sound out of these T1's? I want to purchase the best amp and best DAC right now that away I can be set for a few years. I got $2000 to spend on the amp and DAC, while I know this is low, I am sure their has to be something amazing in this price range.

In that case, Woo Audio WA2 and a W4S DAC-1 would be my choice (amazon be damned

). For $2000, I think this would be the best/synergistic combo for the T1s.

Got dang it, well let me see if I can get the dudes over at Woo Audio to put one on Amazon. If not, maybe someone on the FS forum will list theirs on Amazon, I am willing to pay extra for them to do that.

That said, for a SS option the beyer A1 amp was mighty fine with the T1s and DT800/600s. But not WA2 fine.

So I take it Tube amps go better with T1? I used to own a Asgard SS, and that was what helped me get up in head-fi (I owned a lot of $300 and $400 headphones) until I sold it to help with my budget :D. I really want to go the Woo Audio Route, but I will have to see what I can do.

Being 600 ohms, OTL tube amps have higher output impedances and work better with the T1s. As well, they can typically swing voltages better too. But the A1 has an output impedance of 100ohms I reckon.

Yeah I just emailed the folks over at Woo Audio to see what they can/willing to do. If not, I could always pick the Valhalla vs LYR vs A1. Lol can you tell me which is best outta the three mentioned? You wouldn't happen to have a WA2 that you want to sell on Amazon.....;D?
