Regatta de Blanc
Outlandos D'Amour
Zenyatta Mondata

the rest don't measure up, IMHO

I thought that that best of the solo albums was The Dream of the Blue Turtles: I think that I've owned them all at one time or another and I know that Ten Summoner's Tales is highly rated by a lot of people ... but to be honest I've found them progressively more dull.

Sacred Love was a real dud, albeit with excellent sq!

Um, but Synchronicity is a lot more like Dream of the Blue Turtles than it is like Regatta de Blanc ... I can see preferring The Police to Sting's solo work, but not liking all the Police albums in preference.

The best sting albums are where sting lets other people have influence. So the police albums are all better than the later albums. Dream of the Blue Turtles, he left a lot up to the very talented musicians on the album. Later he got more self indulgent, and the music went down hill quick.
