Good choice Morph! One bottle should last the whole meal. 2+ and you'd have to sleep at the dinner table.

I've got a case, minus 6 or 7, of the 03/2006 batch aging in the closet along with about 10 of the 12/2006 batch. I really have a strong preference for the March batch. Not sure what it is though, maybe the extra few months age. According to the local rep here in town the new batch should be hitting the shelves within the next few weeks.

Usually we drink baileys in the coffee (like irish but then different

) afterwards. Or sometimes Baileys on the rocks or sometimes when I am with my dad in law, Amaretto on the rocks.

Nice, thanks. I've always wanted to try a decent offering... I remember when I first learned of them I heard something like 100 bucks for a decent bottle.

Oh, as for my current favorite "liqueur"... well it isn't really a "liqueur" but I'd go with Sandeman Tawny port, cheap and tasty!

Agreed with the previous two posts. A good single malt that fits your taste is ideal after dinner drink. For me that would usually me a glass of Macallans 12 or Oban 14.

Those are two excellent scotches. I think Macallan 12 year (triangle label) is one of the best bangs for the buck, scotch-wise.
