Hey guys, 
 
My coworker is looking to spend $300 or less on headphones and the 2 main requirements is that he needs them to block out noise/sound isolating and to have a microphone to be able to take calls.
 
I believe he will be listening to music straight from his iPhone. 
 
He was going to get the Beats Executives, but I recommended the Sennheiser Momentums. I'm pretty sure they have an inline mic. 
 
Please let me know what else would suit these requirements.

Amperiors also are good for this and perhaps the MM550's...if Bluetooth will help. Personally I'd go with Amperiors for calls as well as music and I have Momentum's as well as Amperiors.

Never heard of the Amperiors. Will definitely look into them and do some more research. 
 
How would you compare them to the Momentums? What are the +/- ?
 
Do they isolate well and which pair do you end up reaching for more?

I just prefer the sound from the Amperiors, to my ears they give a deeper, richer bass and I use them going to work every day on the train and in work when I don't have to be on the phone or talking to colleagues, they isolate well enough that I can't hear folk around me...

. If you have a store near you, it's wort listening to both to see which you prefer.

Sony MDR-1R & V-Moda M100 & AKG K551 also have mic for $300ish.

Thanks for the recommendations. Already looking at Sony MDR-1R, l think they look great.
