I am not going to use the xb500 at the gym lol. I had a pair before I got for 30 bucks. Really good but cord is **** and no portability. Also, I stepped on them after a year and the headband broke.
How about the normal crossfade lps?? How do those stack up with studios and lp2s?? Forgot to mention I will be using poweramp and a lot of the eq stuff to get it where I want it.
All these headphones are emphasized for bass. However, the LP has been reviewed as very muddy sounding. The LP2 is a refined LP that is cleaner and more detailed, with a less muddy bass. It has been reviewed to be considerably better than the LP.
Give a try to the AKG K67 by Tiesto, they have good sound, good soundstage, good bass, are comfortable, and cost US75,00
Just my word of caution: Only fish out the money for the studios if you are absolutely sure they are a legit pair. But, I'm sure you already know that. Enjoy the Studios! I've never heard them but I'm sure they'll perform well for your needs.
