I'm definitely up for a meet. I can bring the gear in my sig, nothing much to speak of, but I like it.

Early November sounds good, too.

My wife would object to November 8th... she wants to have me for herself on my birthday. I'm up for most any time, except Oct 18, Nov 1, Nov 8.

The month of November is good for me, as I'll be in the States around that time. While my dad won't let me bring his collection of exotic cans, I have amassed a decent collection of my own:

K501, W100 w/W2002 pads, DT-880, SR-225 w/flat pads & RS headband (you'll see...), HD-580, V6 w/Beyer pads.

Let me know what cans people are already bringing so there won't be unnecessary overlap.

I'm down. In Berkeley (my mini-meet offer still stands for whenever but I don't have enough room for more than a few people).

Ok, which cans from this list can people bring?

Audio Technica ATH-W100
AKG K-501
Beyerdynamic DT-880
Grado SR-225
Koss PortaPro
Philips HP-170 (that kick-ass $10 'phone)
Sony MDR-V6 w/Beyer pads
Sennheiser HD-580

The responses will decide which cans I need to bring to the meet. Also, can we work on creating a fixed date so I can plan my business trip to coincide with the meet (give me a concrete date and I'll work my trip around it). Thanks guys; I look forward to meeting you!

I'd like to attend also, but I don't have much to offer

.

My HD-600's cables are shot and dead so I can't really bring them, I have KSC-35's, and a naked meta with a nice selection of elantec buffers.

Bring them, please...I want to do a detailed comparison between them and my HD580s...then trade you for them

I might be around for the meet, I don't have much to contribute though, so if space is short, I volunteer to be kicked out. Also, i went to the one in June.

Gear:
AKG K501
Headroom Total AirHead (2 AA version - the old x 2 version)
Sony D-25s
Koss KSC-35
Sennheiser PX200

Also, i donno what LobsterSan is upto these days (he's studying elsewhere isn't he?) but I could bring my Theremin (he really wanted to check it out in June). I'd bring it if anyone wanted to hear it.

Finally, I could possibly host a mini-meet some other time, but I don't have much gear, so not sure anyone would want to do it.
