First and foremost. THIS FORUM IS PHENOMINAL!!! The detail in every single one of the reviews is amazing to say the least. There are few(if none) trolls or "kids" running around here causing trouble. It is clean, simple, and to the point.

I never knew there were so many "audiophile" styled IEMs available until I stumbled across this place while looking up reviews on a few sets.

Thank you guys for the knowledge and assistance.

Now onto topic. Im not the BIGGEST audiophile, but I do enjoy good sounding music. I prefer in ear for obvious reasons for commuting on the DC Metro daily. Only using for my Android phone(power amp msuic player) I started with the v-moda bass freqs when I was in Iraq and fell in love with them. So much that I bought 2 sets between then(2005) and recently each time they broke. After the third set failing for the same reasons(bad connections that would break). I got in touch with them and they are sending me a pair of Remix Audios ( http://v-moda.com/remix-audio/ ) which appear to be their lowest class. I plan on keeping them as an emergency back up but want something "later and greater".

occasional everything else.

MG7s are looking quite nice. Appearance is kind of silly but so do all these other ass hats with beats head phones on the train every day. Where can one find these Fischers in the US?

MG7s will give you some of the best sub bass in a universal and should suit your musical preferences very well. Not to mention that 50% off coupon. The Eternas Rev.1s would also be a great choice and are extremely hard to come by brand new these days. According to their stock page, FrogBeats should have them by the end of the month. Not sure how much shipping is, but David at FrogBeats is a pleasure to deal with.

To any of you guys/gals that have had these for a while? How are they holding up after long term use and abuse? For me, what ever I choose will end up in my pockets when not in use.

+2 on those M5 w/MG7s... I'm near the polar opposite of a basshead, but couldn't hide a silly grin on my face when I heard them. The sub-bass is incredibly satisfying. My previous pick for quality sub-bass would've been the Miles Davis, but the atrios are superior in that regard IMHO. They feel really robust when I had them in my hands; they're definitely a blast from the past in terms of looks, but they'll most likely last you a long time. The plastic is hard and the wires are thick but pliable.

The SE215s are fantastic sounding but if you are a hardcore basshead like me the bass just doesn't have enough impact, at least before EQing. Definitely look into the atrios. For nice clean mids with decent bass and sub-bass go for the shures.

Thanks for all of the replies. I ordered a pair of MEElectronics M6(great deal) and am wait for those and my replacement vmoda remix audios to come to see how those two pan out. If not. The Atrio MG7s will def be what I pick up.
