Hi guys,
I am a bass lover ,came here to know what do you think about Lg's quad dac, I have been using zte's nubia Z9 mini for three years , it's audio is great especially its heavy bass with Sony xb55ap ,wanna buy the new lg g8, how's the bass of it or what about the v40. Cannot settle with a phone with higher clarity less bass. Thanks...

Old post, but the bass from a V30 never seemed lacking to me. On Vega and Atlas, I get extremely sufficient bass, even without eq boost.

Hey,
I heard online that the bass from v40 is flatter than v30 because it was tuned by meridian. Have you listened to music on v40 though?

I have not yet. Just bought one, getting shipped soon. Doesn't worry me too much though, the native 10 band eq should allow any user to tune for liking pretty easily.

Is there any reason you went with v40 than the g8, because the g8 being the latest one.

Little bit cheaper, and I really like the v30, figured I'd follow the same line.

I use a G7 and when I do use the phone's internals for music (rarely) I don't hear any particular issue.
