Can we get some members to list what eq settings you're using with these? Looking to see if anyone has found something magical, as George did with the 99 Classics.

Has anyone noticed that after 2 years (roughly how long ive owned them) the sound kinda.. gets meh?? Not as good as i remembered them being :frowning2:

Maybe its my after market cable? Or drivers wearing away.. am i going crazy? Lol

I'm not sure, but I've heard that the sound of h6 changes over time and many argue that this change is due to the fact that the pavilions change thickness over time

I think it might have to do with the pads being flattening or wearing out. I think I read a post saying that on this thread. It would be weird for the drivers to start failing after only two years.

I'm not seeing any actual settings. Just two adjustments. Plus there looks to be a previous post.

These are the EQ settings I found previously in this thread, so I can take absolutely no credit for them:
-2.5db @ 130hz, Q=10
+2.5db @ 170hz, Q=10
-2db @1000hz. Q=5
+3db @ 2500hz, Q=10
+3db @ 4000hz, Q=10

It definitely improved the sound, at least to my ears.

the weird thing is, the pads look new, very plush and still in fantastic condition.
Maybe i should get another set if distance is ruining the sound :frowning2:

Are you using the cable that came with the headphone? It’s not very high quality, I wonder if that could be the problem. Is it a marginal difference in sound? Does it sound “flatter”, less dynamic?

Do folks here consider Bang and Olufsen phones good enough for detailed listening? I am always curious about that.

As a huge fan of B&O, my answer to you would be absolutely not.
B&O products are all coloured and tuned for specific sounds. they are not flat and made for analytical hearing.
That being said, they do offer a pleasant sound that people enjoy and have a strong fan base.

PS: just for fun.
