Hi all,
Long time lurker here...
But I have a question for you guys...
I am a musician and enjoy good music, and good music quality.
My musical gear journey went like this:
Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5 Pro (on stage in ears)
then I got
Shure SRH-840
then I got
Alessandro MS1a
then I got
TF10 pro
Here's what I love:
The detail on the Shures! The balance on the Shures! I love balanced sound!
The fact that the vocals in the Triple Fis are in your face. On the Shures, they seem quite distant and is very much enveloped by the instruments.. I don't know why.
The smooth and punchy sound of the MS1a. Piano on Adele's 21 Album sound amazing on these!
What I don't like:
They veiled sound of the Triple Fi 10Pro - not as detailed as the Shure. Bass extension is also not good.
The undefined bass of the Shure SRH840 (it's not very textured or defined, very weak. you can't really listen to the bass, you just know it's there in the background...)
The boomy bass of the MS1a and the lack of balance.
What I'm looking for:
Balanced earphones that can be driven by an iPhone, taking into consideration the above.
What should I buy?
Music I listen to:
Mumford and Sons, Coldplay, Hillsong United, Adele...Pop/Rock basically....
Thanks all in advance!
