I'm wondering  whether the balance control  on my stereo amplifier will be functional with a pair of Stax vintage phones and the energizer that goes along with them... thanks.

Yes it is just like hooking up and controlling speakers, but in this case you have ear-speakers. Enjoy them! What model ?

Thanks so much for your response. I'm thinking of getting  some vintage Stax, maybe  the SR-5, but am fearful of getting a channel imbalance in the phones. Now that you've told me it  can be corrected by the integrated amplifier with balance control, I needn't worry about that. Many thanks.
