It's a perfect amplifier.

Hi Guys, My new Bakoon 5230mk2 just arrived, I'd like recommendations on the best smaller DAC. Topping do the E50 with good reviews, but more interested in hearing what has worked best with you guys...

Cheers, Scott.

Will be more helpful if you can state your budget. I'm pairing it with Chord 2Qute or Mojo2 at the moment.

Awesome, Mojo2 is about $1100 here in NZ, alittle more than I was hoping to spend, But if its worth the difference then I'll hunt around, the mojo2 is Dac/Amp combo, I guess this doesn't matter ???? Sorry new to headphone audio here... not an audiophile guy, just love good sounding music....

Cheers Scott.

Mojo 2 punches way above its price point. I'm currently reviewing Cayin N7 - which I think retails for 2k - and to my ears, Mojo 2 is as good.

Mojo 2 is a DAC/amp combo, but you can set it to 2v and it'll pair nicely with 5230. Mojo 2 is super clean - much cleaner than the first Mojo - so amp pairing works delightfully well. Really can't recommend it too much!
