I stand corrected Jahn, there are only 2 hours left to go in that auction and it is still under $25

Oh the shame. It went for $22. My turntable is...junk. Well, according to ebay standards. But I'll enjoy it for now with its new cart - in 5 years when the cart dies I'll just buy a Linn and a grado cart muahahaha!!

I see you're in NYC. There's a record store in the west village going out of business that has (or a few days ago had) 4 1210's at low prices. Check Craigs list for more info.

Hello!  I would love to find out where I can get a replacement cord for my turntable, I have a  SL-QD35.  I went to go set it up to have fun dancing to my old records with my teenaged daughters, and lo and behold, the cord was missing!!  Eeek.  I still have the original box for my turntable, but obviously, I left the cord behind somewhere else.  If you know a source, I'd be glad to know it.  Can you write me please, at lesisdefinitelymore@yahoo.com?

Thank you so much!!

Ebay ad no longer exists. I'm assuming your TT is an SL-QD33? That was my first table, and I loved it for the 5 years that I owned it (or, rather, before I knew better). I listened to it again recently, sounds pretty good actually. I upgraded from that to a Pioneer PL-518, then to a Thorens TD-145 MKII ($250 on eBay, it can be done). I'd suggest upgrading your TT. Like I said, you can sometimes find a Thorens under $300. Otherwise, I'd go for a Pioneer or Dual. I've heard the Dual 1219, and it's a very fine table.
