I'd recommend the Monster Turbines. But it really depend what sound signature does she like.
I personally like warm, not fatiguing, relaxing sound with oldies and pop.

Also, they have great customer service.

It's a warm signature with the bass in line with the midrange. I wouldn't say it has too much bass at all and it will be great for oldies music.
