Hey guys,




I always been a fan of the Sieveking Omega style headphone stands, but 170 msrp seemed a bit steep.


 


Anyways, I found a company/ebay store based in China that makes "Sieveking" Omega style headphone stands of superb quality for cheap ~40 and I just wanted to share my enthusiasm for them.  I was skeptical of the Chinese knock off but I just received my stand and the quality is astounding. The seller also has various other style stands that are all gorgeous... I think I'll actually buy another.

Is this stand good for the Audeze pads? They look compressed.

Ah thats just my fault, shortened the adjusters for the pads.  If I release them to what I normally wear the headphone at, they aren't nearly as compressed...

Sorry for dredging this thread back up, but I have been looking at these stands and was wondering how the finish quality of them is? I have seen some other stuff about these "Omega Clones" that are poorly finished and need to be re-sanded and re-stained. Also, do these lay flat themselves or do they require felt pads to sit flat?
 
I love the way these look, but there is no way I am shelling out $150 for a headphone stand at this point in time.
